My brother Wallace played and I copied him from
about the age of five. I started playing in
small competitions and then started competing
properly when I was eight years old.

Carly was Scottish Under-9 gymnastic champion.
The Booth family – her older brother Wallace
played for Europe in the Michael Bonallack Trophy
match against Asia-Pacific at Valderrama earlier
this year and her father Wally is a former Commonwealth
Games silver medallist wrestler – also
have had a pipe march written for them by world
famous piper Donald McPherson. It is called
“The Booths of Comrie.”
