Erica has been a sophomore (second year) student at the University
of Arizona in 2003-2004. Rated one of the most explosive players
on the circuit, she made an instant impact in American college
golf. She was the Pac-10 Conference's Player of the Year and
Freshman of the Year for the 2002-2003 college golf season,
closing her freshman year with nine consecutive top-10 finishes,
including two wins.
She tied for third place in the 2003 NCAA championship to earn
first-team NCGA American honours. Erica was a quarter-finalist
at the 2003 US women's championship, having reached the third
round in 2002.
Erica began the 2003-2004 season with three consecutive victories.
She is only the third University of Arizona team player to be
selected for a Curtis Cup match. "I'm very excited. To
be selected as one of the eight amateurs from our country is
an honour." she says.
